This year’s theme is “All Things Spring, A Celebration of Renewal”
Every year Purple Feather Café and Treatery hosts a Spring Chocolate Festival to introduce fabulous new creations, created by our own resident Chocolatier Ann Okun and guest Dutch Chocolatier Paul John Kearins. Throughout the weekend we will be offering taster samples for all to try in exchange for their opinion. Everyone who samples one of our new confections will have the opportunity to give a rating on our new creations. Only the highest rated items will make it into our Treatery assortment.
In addition to our annual treat tasting, attendees can see chocolate and confectionery making, up-close and ask our chocolatiers about the “how, what and why” of their craft. With over 60 combined years of experience there’s quite a lot to tell!
The highlight of the Chocolate Festival will be “An Evening of Chocolate & Wine”, our special chocolate tasting and wine pairing event to be held Saturday May 7 from 6:30 – 8PM. Attendees of this guided pairing will taste fine chocolates, chocolate confectionery, and the wines we have paired with them. This is a must for anyone who truly appreciates and loves chocolate, wine, wants to better understand the origins of chocolate, and find new unique ways to experience chocolate.
The Purple Feather Café and Treatery is open year round, located at 334 Commercial St (across from Lands End Hardware) in the heart of Provincetown, MA. We make all our own chocolates, fudge, gelato,baked goods, savory lunch & now offer beer, wine and cocktails. We also have a full coffee bar featuring George Howell Coffee, and we make the best hot chocolate you’ve ever had!
